Champions Trophy 2025: 4 Things You Can’t Take to the Stadium

The Champions Trophy 2025 officially begins today in Pakistan, with the opening match set to take place between the host team and New Zealand.

The game will be played at National Stadium Karachi, where thousands of cricket fans are expected to gather. However, spectators will have to follow certain entry restrictions.

To ensure security and smooth event management, organizers have issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fans attending the matches. According to these guidelines, several items will not be allowed inside the stadium.

Fans will be prohibited from bringing power banks and AirPods, while items like gutka and betel nuts have also been banned. Additionally, food, beverages, and water bottles from outside will not be permitted.

Security personnel will prevent entry for anyone carrying these restricted items.

Moreover, all spectators must carry their original National Identity Card and a hard copy of their ticket for entry. Digital or online tickets displayed on mobile devices will not be accepted.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 opener.
