Veterinary graduates holding a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will receive a monthly stipend of Rs60,000. Meanwhile, para-vets and livestock assistants will be given Rs40,000 per month during their internship.

In addition, candidates who have completed a two-year Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD) course are also eligible to apply in their respective districts. Applications can be submitted online through the official portal at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. A fixed quota has been reserved for veterinary assistants, AI technicians, and lab assistants across all 36 districts of Punjab.

According to the provincial government, the program is designed not only to provide professional training and financial support to veterinary youth but also to benefit livestock farmers. Through the initiative, farmers will be able to access animal treatment and consultation services right at their doorsteps.

Officials said the program will play a key role in strengthening the livestock sector in Punjab while equipping young professionals with practical experience to advance their careers.
