The PDMA has also informed key departments, including WASA, Rescue, Irrigation, and Livestock, to stay on high alert. “Citizens are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during inclement weather.” The PDMA’s control room is actively monitoring the situation, with its emergency helpline (1129) available for assistance.

Following recent rain and snowfall, temperatures in Lahore have dropped, with the city recording a low of 10°C. The weather is expected to remain cold and dry for the next two days, ahead of another rain system expected to arrive by March 3.
