The matriculation exams for 2025 will be held during the month of Ramadan, as per the provisional date sheet released by all educational boards across the province.
The exams will commence on March 4, 2025, with the first papers scheduled for Arabic and History. The final exam for matriculation students, Punjabi, will take place on March 24, 2025. These exams will cover various subjects for both science and arts students.

The 9th-grade exams are set to begin on March 25, 2025, starting with the compulsory English paper. The last exam for 9th-grade students, Punjabi, will be held on April 18, 2025. During the exam period, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays are scheduled from March 29 to April 3, 2025, allowing students a break in between exams.
In addition to the written exams, practical exams will begin on April 23, 2025. These practical exams will be conducted for subjects requiring hands-on assessments, such as science and computer studies.
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has finalized the provisional date sheet, which will be followed by all educational boards in the province to ensure a unified and coordinated exam schedule. This will help maintain uniformity in the exam process across all boards.
