Forbes’ analysis pointed out that Karachi’s high-risk ranking was largely due to factors such as political instability, elevated crime rates, and inadequate health and infrastructure facilities.

Tourists in Karachi face significant risks from street crimes and terrorism. Furthermore, the city grapples with challenges such as inadequate public transport, poor sanitation, and frequent power outages, all of which contribute to its lower safety ranking.

Forbes’ ranking is part of a detailed study designed to offer travelers essential insights into potential risks associated with various destinations. In stark contrast, Singapore has been recognized as the safest city for tourists, achieving a perfect safety score of 0.
