After Petrol, LPG Price Also Increased

The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has increased following the recent hike in petroleum product prices. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has released a notification confirming the price adjustment for July.

The notification states that the price of LPG per kilogram has been raised by Rs 1.43, bringing it to Rs 234.72 per kg. This reflects a slight but notable increase from the previous month’s rate.

For domestic consumers, the price of a standard LPG cylinder is now Rs 2,769.66, up from Rs 2,768 in June.

Additionally, the federal government has increased the petrol price by Rs 7.45 per liter, raising it from Rs 258.16 to Rs 265.61 for the next two weeks due to rising trends in the international market.

The Finance Division has officially announced these changes, as calculated by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) based on global price fluctuations.

The notification also details an increase in the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 9.56, setting it at Rs 277.45 per liter. These new fuel prices will be effective from July 1.
