Ingredients
- Chicken (with bones) 1/2 kg
- Onion Chopped 1 Cup
- Garlic Chopped 1 Tbsp
- Ginger Chopped 1 Tbsp
- Yogurt 1/2 Cup
- Star Anise Powder 1/4 Tsp
- Salt 1 Tsp
- Chili Powder 1 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/2 Tsp
- Coriander Seeds Crushed 1(1/2) Tsp
- Cloves 4
- Black Pepper 6
- Cinnamon 1 Inch Stick
- Black Cardamom 1
- Cumin Seeds 1/2 Tsp
- Tomatoes Chopped 3
- Oil 1/2 Cup
- Green Chilies 6
- Coriander Leaves for Garnish
- Ginger Julienne 1 Tbsp
Method – Chicken Fry Masala
- Heat Oil and Fry Onion till Light Golden
- Add Whole Spices and Fry for a Minute
- Add chopped Ginger, Garlic and Fry for 2 minutes
- Add Chicken, fry well and add 1/2 Cup of Water
- Cover and cook until chicken is half done
- Add Tomatoes and Yogurt with all the dry spices
- Fry it well, Cover and Cook until chicken is Tender and the Oil comes on Top
- Lastly add Green Chilies, Coriander Leaves and Ginger Julienne for Garnishing
- Serve with Naan
