iPhone 14 variants were released September 16. They are the first Apple phones to have the new “emergency SOS via satellite” feature, which enables users to contact emergency services with a brief message even when they are outside of cell coverage, through a satellite relay service. Due of the extremely low bandwidth of wide-range satellite communications, the capability, which has only been available in North America so far, employs a directional antenna to convey the messages, which take at least 15 seconds to transmit.
The new iPhone 14 model may have many features but it also have some bugs. Have a look at them:
Issues with iPhone 14 Camera or iOS 16:
Numerous well-known third-party apps seem to have been caught off guard by the new camera technology on the iPhone 14 Pro. Some iPhone 14 Pro owners claim that they are unable to use third-party apps like Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram to take pictures and videos. The “Pro” camera in the most recent iPhones is experiencing problems, including shaking, rattling, and occasionally making loud noises.
These issues have been reported by iPhone 14 Pro users on Twitter and Reddit.
“I’ve been experiencing my camera shaking uncontrollably whenever I open Snapchat or use the camera for Instagram. However, I don’t run into any issues when I use the regular camera app.”
Consumers have also expressed complaints about the grating noise the iPhone’s camera creates.
Another Reddit user wrote, “My iPhone 14 Pro just arrived and when I launched Snapchat, the camera was shaking a lot and produced a really odd mechanical noise.”

Data Transfer:
After users transfer their data from an older iPhone, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models may freeze. Apple is looking into this potential fault.
Apple claims in the document that it is “aware of the issue occurring and is looking into it.” After an iCloud restore or data transfer from their prior iPhone during the Quick Start procedure, Apple specifically warns that some customers may experience freezing and unresponsiveness with their new iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
Apple suggests forcing a restart of the iPhone as a temporary solution if it becomes unresponsive for longer than five minutes. The activation of new iPhone 14 Pro customers’ devices was problematic on Friday. Although the iPhone 14 Pro comes pre-installed with iOS 16, users should update to iOS 16.0.1 after configuring their new devices. This update is specifically released to fix the problems faced by the users with regards to data migration, authorization and photo issues with the range.
Issues with AirDrop:
When trying to AirDrop something from an iPhone 14 Pro to another iPhone, users claim that “waiting” is shown indefinitely and that AirDrop is not functioning right now, it appears that the problem only affects certain iPhone 14 Pro models, suggesting that it might not be a problem that affects many users of iOS 16.
Battery Getting Drained in a short time:
Although it’s still early, several owners of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have reported unusual battery depletion. We’ll have to wait and see whether the reports persist or if it’s only temporary to see if there is some battery consumption in the days after setting up a new device. Users of iOS 1 on devices other than the iPhone 14 Pro are also suffering battery drain.
Issues with Apple Maps:
Some users are experiencing issues with Google Maps. The app is not showing accurate directions.
