The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced revised toll rates for the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2), with the new charges taking effect from July 5, 2026.
According to an official notification, the revised toll rates will remain in force until April 23, 2027.

The increase is being implemented under the concession agreement signed between the NHA and Motorway Operations and Rehabilitation Engineering (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), for the overlay and modernization of the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway.
The notification states that a 7 percent escalation in toll rates will be implemented from the 13th year of the concession period in accordance with the agreement.
Under the revised rates, cars, jeeps, and taxis will pay Rs. 1,430, while the toll for wagons has been set at Rs. 2,390. Coasters will be charged Rs. 3,350, followed by buses at Rs. 4,770.
Meanwhile, the toll for two and three axle trucks has been increased to Rs. 6,210, whereas articulated trucks will be required to pay Rs. 7,980.
The revised toll rates will apply to all motorists using the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2) from July 5 as part of the annual escalation outlined in the concession agreement.
