Pakistan’s automotive market is expected to witness a busy second half of 2026, with approximately 23 new vehicles projected to enter the market between June and December, according to Arif Habib Limited’s (AHL) Upcoming Automobile Launch Tracker.

The upcoming lineup includes nine electric vehicles (EVs), 11 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and three petrol-powered models, reflecting the growing shift toward electrified mobility in the country.

The launch cycle is expected to begin in June with seven vehicles, including the Changan UNI-S, GWM Cannon Alpha, MG IM5, MG IM6, Jetour T1, Jetour T2 and Omoda C7.

Four additional models are expected to arrive in July, comprising the Jaecoo J8, Nevo Q05, Deepal G318 and Nevo A06.

August is projected to bring three more launches, including the Ora O5, Deepal Hunter K50 and Avatr 11, while September is expected to see the arrival of the Chery QQ3 and Deepal S09.

Another electric vehicle, the Changan Lumin, is listed for launch in October.

The final month covered by the tracker, December, is expected to be the second-busiest period of the year with six planned launches. These include the Denza B5, Denza B8, BYD Sealion 6, Nevo Q07, Avatr 07 and Aion ES.

Recent launches such as the Aion V and Aion UT have already expanded Pakistan’s electric vehicle offerings, while the upcoming pipeline suggests automakers will continue introducing new models across multiple categories in the coming months.

According to the tracker, electrified vehicles account for the overwhelming majority of expected launches, underscoring the industry’s increasing focus on hybrid and electric technologies as manufacturers expand their product portfolios in Pakistan.
