Under the new system, applicants will no longer need to visit banks, as payments can now be made through digital platforms including Easypaisa, JazzCash, and mobile banking applications.

The initiative has been implemented in collaboration with the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), with QR code-based payment systems activated at the Islamabad Driving Licensing Authority.

The NHMP said similar facilities will also be introduced at the Sheikhupura and Quetta Driving Licensing Authorities.

Officials said the system is expected to reduce processing time, lower costs, and enable smoother transactions through real-time payment confirmation integrated with the National Bank of Pakistan.

Senior officials from the NHMP and the National Bank of Pakistan attended the inauguration ceremony.
