Over 1,300 Jobs Announced by FIA

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced recruitment for more than 1,300 jobs across multiple cadres, inviting applications from candidates across Pakistan under a centralized hiring process.

According to the official advertisement, the vacancies include Assistant (BS-15) with 21 posts, Sub-Inspector (BS-14) with 94 posts, Stenotypist (BS-14) with 47 posts, Upper Division Clerk (BS-13) with 29 posts, Lower Division Clerk (BS-11) with 64 posts, Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-09) with 117 posts, Constable (BS-05) with 941 posts, Constable Driver (BS-05) with 39 posts and Staff Car Driver (BS-04) with 42 posts.

The positions have been distributed under regional and provincial quotas, including open merit as well as reserved seats for women, minorities and persons with disabilities, in line with federal recruitment policy.

Eligibility criteria vary by post, with qualifications ranging from primary and matriculation to intermediate and bachelor’s degrees. Specific roles such as stenotypist and clerical positions require typing speed and shorthand proficiency, while driver posts require a valid license and relevant experience.

Candidates applying for uniformed positions, including Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable and Constable Driver, will be required to pass physical measurement and endurance tests, including a one-mile run within the prescribed time, along with height and chest requirements.

Applications must be submitted online through the National Police Foundation’s recruitment portal, and the deadline for submission is May 4, 2026. Each applicant will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000 per post.

The recruitment process will include physical and endurance tests, followed by a written examination, skill tests and interviews, while final selection will be subject to a medical examination conducted by an authorized government medical board.
