In addition to the new security features, the visa pages of the redesigned passports will showcase images of historic landmarks from various provinces across Pakistan, reflecting the country’s cultural and architectural heritage.

The DGIP further stated that, following approval from the Ministry of Interior, the printing of the new passport booklets is currently underway at the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation.

Officials clarified that apart from the newly added security elements and the inclusion of both parents’ names, no other changes are being made to the passport’s core design or structure.

The department reiterated its commitment to enhancing the quality and integrity of Pakistani passports while ensuring they meet modern international security and identification standards.
