Suzuki Fronx is Launching in Pakistan This Year

0

Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) is preparing to introduce the Suzuki Fronx, a compact SUV, in the first quarter of next year, according to industry sources. The model will be locally assembled, which is expected to make pricing more competitive. The Fronx is projected to fall in the Rs. 6–7 million range.

The launch will mark PSMC’s entry into the growing compact SUV segment, where the Fronx will compete with rivals such as the Kia Stonic, Peugeot 2008, and MG ZS.

International variants of the Fronx feature a coupe-style roofline, bold front grille with gloss black elements, LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Dimensions include a length of 3,995 mm, width of 1,765 mm, and height of 1,550 mm, with ground clearance around 170 mm.

Depending on trim, global models offer a 9-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, tilt-and-telescopic steering adjustment, and split-folding rear seats. Higher trims add wireless charging and a head-up display.

Internationally, the Fronx comes with a 1.5L petrol engine supported by a mild hybrid system, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include dual airbags as standard, with higher trims offering side and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and a 360-degree camera.

If launched with similar specifications, the Fronx could become a modern and practical choice for Pakistani SUV buyers.
