Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of the next cycle of the HONAHAR Scholarship Program, encouraging students across the province to apply.
In her message to the youth, the CM described students as “the heartbeat of Punjab’s future” and highlighted the program’s impact since its introduction last year.

According to Maryam Nawaz, the initiative has so far benefited 80,000 students, with 50,000 already receiving their scholarships and another 30,000 set to receive theirs soon. She said the program continues to expand, offering opportunities in 67 “future-proof” disciplines to equip students with modern skills and career pathways.
The CM urged students to apply with confidence, study with dedication, and maintain belief in their potential. “Your success will always be my greatest pride,” she said, adding that many more students would benefit in the coming years.
The HONAHAR Scholarship Program aims to provide financial assistance to talented students across Punjab, enabling them to pursue higher education without financial barriers. Officials say the initiative is part of the provincial government’s broader commitment to education and youth empowerment.
The application portal for the new cycle is now open at honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk. Students are advised to submit their applications as early as possible.
