The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced a special one-day package to celebrate a major milestone in the country’s digital growth — crossing 200 million telecom subscribers.
On June 20, 2025, all mobile users in Pakistan will receive 2 GB of free internet and 200 on-net minutes, valid for 24 hours. This offer can be activated by dialing *#2200# from any mobile network.

According to the latest PTA figures, Pakistan now has over 197.7 million mobile phone subscribers, with 80.3% of the population having access to mobile services. Broadband users have reached 150 million, and fixed-line subscribers stand at 3.75 million.
To mark this achievement, a ceremony will be held at the PTA Headquarters in Islamabad, bringing together officials, telecom operators, and mobile manufacturers. The event will include discussions on connectivity progress and strategies to boost digital services across the country.
As part of the celebrations, telecom companies will offer free voice and data bundles, while mobile manufacturers have been invited to donate 10 to 15 smartphones for a lucky draw during the event.
PTA’s initiative highlights the country’s rapid progress in digital connectivity and aims to encourage further development in the telecom sector.
