The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy has released updated visa guidelines for Pakistani citizens, detailing essential requirements for different visa categories. The new rules aim to streamline the process and ensure applicants meet all necessary conditions.
An embassy official stated that the visa processing fee is fixed at $69 per person. Except for employment visas, all other categories, including tourist, visit, and family visas, must be applied for online.

Once submitted, applicants will receive an appointment notification for their visit to the embassy or visa center.
Documents Required for Visa Application
• Application Confirmation: A copy of the submitted visa application must be provided.
• Financial Statement: A stamped and signed six-month bank statement with a minimum balance of $5,000 or equivalent is required. The statement can belong to the applicant, a parent, or a sponsor.
• Accommodation Proof: Applicants must submit proof of stay, such as a hotel reservation, rental agreement, or confirmation from a host.
• Return Flight Ticket: A confirmed round-trip ticket is mandatory.
• Identification Documents: A valid NIC or passport (with at least six months’ validity) must be presented.
• Visa Fee Payment: The $69 visa fee must be deposited in an Al-Falah Bank account, and the original receipt must be shown at the visa center.
Special Instructions for Children
The UAE Embassy has issued specific guidelines for minors:
• Under 5 years: No visit to the visa center is required. Only a passport-size photo with a white background must be submitted.
• Ages 6 to 15: They must visit the visa center, where their photo will be taken on-site.
• Ages 15 and above: The visa process is the same as for adults.
Final Verification and Biometric Requirements
Applicants aged 5 years and older must visit the visa center for biometric verification before completing their visa process.
