This move is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to simplify the passport application process and provide faster services to citizens in more regions.

Zonal heads have been directed to ensure the immediate availability of Fast Track services at these newly added locations. Furthermore, the Director (Databases) has been instructed to update the Passport Processing System (PPS) to reflect the changes and include the newly added cities in the Fast Track category.

The directive, issued by Assistant Director (Policy-I) Hafiz Abdul Nasir, has been shared with relevant departments, including the Director General of Pakistan Post, to ensure smooth implementation and widespread awareness.

This initiative aims to deliver more efficient passport services and significantly reduce waiting times for applicants in these areas.
