The initiative, in partnership with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and the Housing and Urban Development Department, also aims to provide pre-constructed homes to low-income families.
Maryam Nawaz emphasised that the scheme should ensure every citizen’s right to housing. “I want every homeless person to have their own roof. Owning a home is a fundamental right,” she stated.
The chief minister urged authorities to work diligently to meet deadlines and review the proposal to enhance the loan amount. With a focus on supporting vulnerable populations, the program is expected to bring relief to thousands of families across the province.
