Former cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has shared a detailed diet plan that he claims played a key role in his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s recovery from cancer.
During a recent discussion, Sidhu highlighted the importance of dietary changes and lifestyle modifications alongside conventional cancer treatments.
Sidhu’s plan begins with the total elimination of processed and refined foods, including refined sugar, refined oils, dairy products, and packaged foods containing preservatives. He recommends using only cold-pressed oils such as coconut, mustard, or olive oil.

Milk is replaced with homemade alternatives like almond or coconut milk, while traditional grains are substituted with quinoa, almond flour, or water chestnut flour.
For meals, the plan advises limited consumption of cooked food—two servings of vegetables or lentils (pre-soaked overnight) per day. It also encourages the inclusion of bitter gourd juice mixed with citrus fruits like orange or grapefruit.
Regular consumption of leafy greens, such as spinach, coriander, mint, and neem leaves, is also highlighted as essential.
Sidhu emphasized the role of physical activity, urging individuals to engage in walking or yoga, which he claims release healing enzymes. He also underscored the importance of a positive mindset, supported by family and friends, as a key factor in battling the disease.
The diet plan is presented as a holistic supplement to conventional cancer treatments.
