Regal Automobiles Launches Pakistan’s First Electric SUV

Regal Automobiles Industries Limited has achieved a significant milestone by introducing Pakistan’s first locally assembled electric SUV, the Seres 3.

The launch event, held at the Regal Automobiles manufacturing plant, marked a groundbreaking moment for the country’s automotive industry and its transition toward sustainable electric mobility.

The Seres 3 comes equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a remarkable range of up to 403km on a single charge (NEDC cycle). The SUV boasts a power output of 156 hp, torque of 280 Nm, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds.

Its DC fast-charging capability allows the battery to charge from 0-80% in just 40 minutes, making it both powerful and convenient.

The vehicle’s interior highlights luxury and innovation with a spacious design, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and state-of-the-art safety features, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane-keeping assist, collision warning, and hill descent control.

At the event, Regal Automobiles Managing Director Adeel Usman expressed pride in the achievement. “The Seres 3 is a symbol of innovation and sustainability. It reflects our commitment to driving Pakistan towards a greener future while showcasing the potential of the local automotive industry to thrive in the global shift towards electric vehicles.”

This launch represents a major leap forward for Pakistan’s automotive landscape and its commitment to environmental sustainability.
