Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, declared on Sunday that he will file a lawsuit against the Punjab police, as well as each and every officer involved in the “assault” on his Zaman Park mansion in Lahore the day before.
A day after reports of hours-long skirmishes between PTI workers and the capital police surfaced upon the former prime minister’s arrival at the Federal Court Complex to attend a hearing in the Toshakhana case, Imran made the comments during a speech to the nation.
A sizable police presence began a search of Imran’s home as he left his Zaman Park property to appear before the judge.
Speaking about the police operation at Zaman Park, Imran claimed that only his wife, Bushra Bibi, and a small number of servants were present as officials tore down the gate and his walls.
“I want to ask everyone, police, army officers, the judges of this country and the people [about] the respect of chaddor and char dewari in Islam.”
He claimed that authorities were aware that Bushra Bibi, a non-political woman, was at home alone.

Imran accused the Punjab IG of disobeying the instructions of the Lahore High Court (LHC), alleging that he had referred to an anti-terrorism court for getting a search warrant even when a high court judge had already laid out the protocol for conducting a search at Zaman Park.
He declared that in response to the passing of Ali Bilal, also known as Zille Shah, a PTI employee, the PTI would file a contempt case before the LHC and file a lawsuit against Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
