Latif Afridi, a former leader of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBAP), was shot and killed while present at the Peshawar High Court (PHC), according to Aaj News.
The attorney was transported right away to Peshawar Lady Reading Hospital. However, while receiving medical attention, he passed away from his wounds.
Six shots were reportedly fired at Afridi.
According to the police, the accused is in their care. From the attacker, police have taken a tiny weapon, an ID card, and a driver’s license.

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, expressed his profound sadness and grief over the “brutal killing” of Afridi.
Former Prime Minister Pakistan, Imran Khan also expressed deep sorrow over the incident and offered condolences to the grieved family.
