Chery has increased the prices of its locally assembled Tiggo 7 PHEV, Tiggo 8 PHEV, and Tiggo 9 PHEV after the federal government revised the sales tax in the 2026 to 2027 budget. Despite the increase, the company will continue offering all three plug in hybrid SUVs at discounted promotional prices until July 31, 2026.
The company has raised the ex factory price of the Tiggo 7 PHEV from Rs. 9,499,000 to Rs. 10,949,000. It has also increased the Tiggo 8 PHEV price from Rs. 11,299,000 to Rs. 12,999,000. Meanwhile, the Tiggo 9 PHEV now carries an ex factory price of Rs. 15,749,000, up from its previous price of Rs. 13,694,000.

Although the revised prices have already taken effect, Chery has introduced a limited time promotional offer that allows customers to purchase the vehicles at lower rates until July 31. Under this offer, the Tiggo 7 PHEV is available for Rs. 9,999,000., the Tiggo 8 PHEV for Rs. 11,499,000., and the Tiggo 9 PHEV for Rs. 14,299,000.
These promotional prices remain below the newly revised ex factory prices, but customers will still pay more than they did before the latest sales tax revision increased vehicle prices across the market.
Chery has limited the temporary pricing to existing customers, and the company will honor the offer only while stocks last. Unless Chery extends the promotion beyond the announced deadline, it will begin charging the full revised ex factory prices for all three plug in hybrid SUVs starting August 1, 2026.
