Pakistani car buyers have received major relief after Peugeot and Kia announced substantial price reductions for some of their most popular crossover SUVs.
Peugeot Pakistan has slashed the prices of both variants of the Peugeot 2008. The Peugeot 2008 Active now carries a price tag of Rs. 5,799,000, down from Rs. 6,999,000, reflecting a reduction of Rs. 1,200,000.

Meanwhile, the Peugeot 2008 Allure has received an even larger cut of Rs. 1,300,000. Its price has been reduced from Rs. 7,799,000 to Rs. 6,499,000.
In a separate announcement, Kia Pakistan also revised the price of the Sportage L Alpha. According to an official notification, the SUV’s ex-factory price has been reduced by Rs. 1,000,000, bringing it down from Rs. 8,899,000 to Rs. 7,899,000.
The revised Kia price will apply to all orders invoiced on or after June 22, 2026. The company said the new ex-factory rate is applicable to both cash and financing customers.
The back-to-back price cuts by two major automakers come at a time when competition in Pakistan’s crossover and SUV segment continues to intensify. Manufacturers have increasingly been revising prices and introducing incentives to attract customers amid changing market conditions.
The latest reductions significantly improve the affordability of both models and are expected to strengthen their position in the competitive crossover market, where buyers now have a wider range of options at lower prices.
