Transworld Associates has announced a scheduled maintenance activity on its international submarine cable system, warning users of potential internet disruptions across Pakistan during the process.

In a notice issued to customers, the company said the maintenance is being carried out in coordination with its international partners as part of routine infrastructure upkeep aimed at ensuring long-term network stability.

According to the schedule shared by the company, the maintenance will begin on April 9 at 6:30 PM and continue until April 13 at 5:00 AM, spanning multiple days.

The company said that during this period, users may experience performance issues, including slower internet speeds and intermittent connectivity disruptions, as work is carried out on critical international links.

Although the exact level of disruption has not been specified, submarine cable maintenance typically affects internet performance due to its impact on global data traffic routes. Transworld added that the activity is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve service quality, but acknowledged that temporary service interruptions may occur during the maintenance window.
