Capital Smart Motors (CSM) has launched the JMEV EV3, an all-electric sub-compact hatchback, in Pakistan after its earlier unveiling at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) last year.
The EV is being offered in two variants, with the base variant priced at Rs. 4,899,000 and the top variant at Rs. 4,999,999 under introductory pricing.
Bookings will open in April 2026 with a booking amount of Rs. 490,000, while deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2026.
The JMEV EV3 offers an electric range of up to 330 kilometers on a full charge, making it suitable for urban commuting and short intercity travel.
The vehicle is expected to feature a compact battery pack paired with an electric motor designed for efficiency, though the company has not disclosed detailed battery capacity or motor output figures.
The EV3 comes equipped with a modern interior layout, including a digital instrument cluster, infotainment system and basic connectivity features.
Safety features are expected to include airbags, ABS and standard driver assistance functions, in line with vehicles in this segment.
The launch marks Capital Smart Motors’ entry into Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle segment, where demand continues to rise amid increasing fuel costs. Further specifications and feature details are expected to be announced closer to the start of bookings.
