Changan has officially raised the prices of several models in its lineup, with the hike taking effect from July 1, 2025. The price increase, ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 200,000, impacts popular models like the Oshan X7, Alsvin, Karvaan, and Sherpa.

According to the updated price list, the Oshan X7 FS (7-seater) now costs Rs. 9,299,000, up by Rs. 200,000. The Oshan X7 Comfort (7-seater) has seen an increase of Rs. 175,000, bringing its new price to Rs. 8,474,000. Similarly, the Oshan X7 FS (5-seater) also jumped by Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 9,149,000.

Among the Alsvin variants, the MT Comfort is now priced at Rs. 4,189,000 (up by Rs. 90,000), while both Lumiere and Lumiere Black Edition have seen increases of Rs. 100,000, now retailing at Rs. 4,899,000 and Rs. 4,999,000, respectively.

The Karvaan Power Plus 1.2 now costs Rs. 3,249,000 (up Rs. 50,000), and the Sherpa Power 1.2 has increased by Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 2,349,000.

This announcement comes just days after Kia raised the price of the Picanto by Rs. 200,000, and Pak Suzuki increased rates for the Wagon R and Alto by up to Rs. 130,000.

The consistent hikes across multiple automakers are reportedly due to rising production costs and new tax measures introduced in the federal budget 2025–26.
