The milestone of becoming the first Pakistani-Chinese auto company to export vehicles to two foreign countries was commemorated with a ceremonial ceremony conducted in Karachi. Notably, Asad Rehman, the Federal Secretary of Industries and Production, was present during the occasion.
Rehman also disclosed the government’s intention to pressure automakers to raise automobile costs, particularly in light of the significant decline in the value of the US dollar (USD). He highlighted the initiatives in this regard by bringing up a recent newspaper ad published by an automaker, signalling its commitment to lowering car prices.
