The Makkah-Madinah Haramain railway is now being driven by Saudi women. A video of women operating trains and receiving training while seated in the driver’s cabin was made public by Saudi Railways.
The Saudi women may be seen completing their responsibilities on the train in a social media video footage that has gone viral. 31 indigenous women have successfully finished the training to operate high-speed trains, according to Saudi Railways.
Makkah-Madinah Haramain high-speed train is one of the fastest trains in the world.
Sara Al Shehri, a Saudi woman, has stated that she and her coworkers “have had the honour of running a high-speed train, which I am proud of, for the first time in the Middle East.”
