One of the many typical challenges we all experience in life is reading a doctor’s prescription, which forces us to give the prescription to the pharmacist, who is the only one who can comprehend it. Google revealed the tool at its annual conference in India, saying that professional pharmacists helped design it. This new tool will allow to translate doctor’s handwriting.

The issue persisted for decades, but Google has recently found a solution. A new doctors note decipherer has just been released on the market by the IT giant. The feature can identify some of the most difficult handwritings thanks to modern technologies.

Google revealed the idea at its yearly conference in India and said it worked with seasoned pharmacists to develop the feature. Although the product’s release date has not been specified, it is obvious that it will be a part of Google Lens once it is release.

“It will act as an assistive technology for digitizing handwritten medical documents by augmenting the humans in the loop such as pharmacists, however no decision will be made solely based on the output provided by this technology.”

Given that the announcement was made in India, which also has the most Google Lens users, it is anticipated that the product will be unveiled there first before being made available elsewhere.

Other fascinating technology were also displayed at the Google for India event. Google disclosed during the event that it has been working on a single model that will support more than 100 Indian languages for both speech and text.
