Punjab Police challaned national team batsman Asif Ali for non-compliance with traffic rules. Asif Ali was fined by the City Traffic Police (CTP) in Lahore for having dark tinted windows on his vehicle, thus establishing the phenomenon that the law is equal for all.
According to traffic cops, the city is waging a specific campaign against tinted windows. CTP penalised the famed cricketer in Ichra Pull, Lahore, according to details.
“In order to establish the supremacy of law, action must be taken without any discrimination. Cricketer Asif Ali was challaned Rs. 500 for violating a traffic rule. The law is equal for all, and action will be taken against others who do not comply,” Inspector Muhammad Azam said in a statement.
